Röko acquires a majority of Silk-Ka

Röko has acquired a majority of the shares in SK Holding B.V. and its subsidiaries Silk-Ka B.V. and Silk-Ka International B.V. (collectively “Silk-Ka”). Silk-Ka is a European leader in the design and distribution of artificial flowers (“silk flowers”) and plants which are sold to florists, home-deco, garden centers and the hospitality industry. Silk-Ka employs 30 people in their HQ in Hengelo, the Netherlands, and revenues amounted to ca 15 MEUR in 2021.

Silk-Ka was founded in 1988 by Patrick Oude Groeniger and he has led the business together with the management team since then. Patrick will continue in his previous role at Silk-Ka and retains 20% of the shares after the transaction.

The investment in Silk-Ka is the 21st since Röko was founded and represents the second investment in the Netherlands.
